EX-13 — The Embrace.

At the centre of this piece lies a natural Aquadite stone, formed over millions of years and defined by patterns that will never exist again.

Soft greens, earthy greys, white mineral formations and darker inclusions move throughout the stone, creating a naturally layered landscape. Around it, broad strands of handwoven copper sweep inward from both sides, appearing almost to hold the Aquadite within the design.

Unlike the more intricate woven pieces of the Exclusive Series, EX-13 is defined by its strong, flowing lines. Three distinctive spirals anchor the design while the copper follows the irregular shape of the stone from base to tip.

Every strand of copper has been shaped by hand specifically around this individual Aquadite stone. No mould or identical pattern was used.

Meaning — The Embrace

The Embrace represents protection, connection and the strength found in being supported.

The sweeping copper lines appear to surround the Aquadite without hiding it — holding the stone while allowing its natural character to remain completely visible.

Its spirals symbolise continuity and movement, while the enclosing form reflects the idea that protection does not have to mean restriction. The strongest support gives us the space to remain ourselves.

At its centre, the Aquadite remains raw and individual, surrounded rather than changed by the copper built around it.

A reminder that strength can also be gentle.
